i feel like i've seen (or soon will see) this reality-themed horror/action movie:
the inhabitants as i see them:
dave chapelle (black comedic relief)
denis quaid (scientist seeking answers to looming end of world problem)
fat guy from sienfeld and jurassic park
eh, since we're going there, might as well add goldblum:
and the obligatory misfit punk rocker emo kid who's getting into trouble (but they're smart and that'll play into the story in some significant way later in the story!) - played by young kristen stewart:
