it's probably because of the way that flash/dreamweaver tag the flash movie into the html. In (sorta ironically) Zeldman's book it states that it should be a simple tag to live up to standards, instead MM puts in a bunch of convoluted tags and extra shit. Try just using the {object} or {embed} tag.. see if it works... i'm not expecting it to work, but it might be worth a try... apple's been going on a standards kick (thank god someone is) with safari so who knows...
