That moment you break open the hard shell of a hardboiled egg. Cracking and rolling egg across the table till the two halves off the sides simply slide off, leaving the soft smooth white naked egg exposed to the air for the first time in its life. Running the egg under cold water, as the moisture drips down, glistening with lightly sprinkled salt.
