just had a meeting with my sales team, the CEO, the CFO, the president of the company, the entire design dept regarding my new 2014 backpack collection.
going thru the categories and one of the sales guys asked about the highest category backpack. which i tell him i made 2 specifically for his customers and pull them off the wall.
the president then steps forward and says that this design was not done by me and done by a freelancer over seas..
this led to a nasty argument with myself, my entire design team against the president of the company. they all said it was my design, which i have all my original concept hand drawn sketches, all email coorespondance as well as hardware development.
she stops the meeting to pull me into her office. she then explains how i am in the wrong for arguing against her and that she is positive that the freelancer in asia did it and not me..
she then says to me to prove it, which i did as i showed her my original line plan, my original concepts and my sketches as well as my cads, which are all clearly drawn in my illustrative style..
she then says i am a liar and still is in the wrong saying her freelancer did it..
oi the entire design dept just walked out.. and left for the remainder of the day.,. im still in the office cleaning up the mess that ws made by jealousy and stupidity..
oi.. NYC DESIGN sounds super sexy right about now!!!
