    Alright:

We flew in on Thursday night, and on the plane sat next to someone who lives in the Mission. We picked her brain for the last hour or so and got all sorts of recommendations for places to eat in the area. (And then left the list on the plane, but whatever, still ended up having a good time.)

One she recommended was Tacqueria Can Cun (Mission at 19th), which we remembered and stumbled across in time for lunch. Good and cheap.

We met up with our new friend for dinner at Limón Rottisserie (21st and South Van Ness) and had a blast. It's a Peruvian place, not sure if it's supposed to be like tapas (the plates/portions are bigger than that) but we treated it that way. It took a long time for them to come and take our order, and their sangria is basically red wine with a little bit of fruit chopped up and tossed in, but we'll go back the next time we're in town.

McSweeney's on Valencia has closed/moved, as far as I can tell. The website still says it's there, but the store front is for some sort of scholarship match program for students. Muy disappointed by that.
