I built this over the past few days, its all working in the backend (you can create your own blog in seconds on nsfwtumblr.com sub-domain), and you can post different status updates (image, link, quote, text) directly from the browser.
You will also be able to import your old Tumblr. Spread the word, give me love, hate, ideas.
Just need to tidy up a lot of things, thus the countdown. Plan to launch in a week. Its running off EC2 so will scale well.
Email me if you are interested in knowing when you can sign up and get your subdomain etc.
