    The science of good cake photos.

    OK, so, a photo of a cupcake against a white background ...
    The cake and decorations are different colours. The icing which takes up the majority of the shot is red. The image has been photoshop filtered to be a perfect medium saturation and lightness. This of course is shot in portrait at 2:3 aspect ratio.

    • background should exist and be compelling, but no more than 40% of image. Also, cake musn't be hideous.monospaced
