    Here's a closer look at the guy. The tiny lines I think you're asking about are the "tips" of the bull-horn-shaped handlebars.

    Yes, he's wearing a bandana over his face, to kind of play-up the bandit/outlaw thing.

    The cactus is not on the mountain, but in the foreground. We are only seeing the top half of it's silhouette. I can revisit this to make it more obvious.
