...as for the whining out there and that petition in particular, it's pretty simple imo. people don't like paying for things.
and when it comes to adobe products, many people have enjoyed not paying them for a long, long time. some people may even be shocked that they're supposed to cost something.
now adobe is insisting on payment via a new model and people are kleenex crushing.
and hey, it's expensive, no doubt... but so is food, gas, my car, my cell done, my internet, my mortgage, my ebay addiction, my adidas, etc.
