If logos etc can be vector art then make it so. This will save you time later when your client wants a 48 sheet poster... ahem.
Resolution for other non-vector images must be 300dpi. Less than this will give a poor reuslt. Ensure all images will seperate into spot or process colours depending on numbers of colours involved.
Don't worry about imposition of the final art. Your printer should take care of this for you.
Don't forget to hand over hard copy to the printer with a trapping and knockout disclaimer written on it so that when you get proofs / final job back you can blame him when it goes wrong. And keep a copy for yourself!
