There's tons of amazing places around Manchester city with crazy architecture - lots of art spaces and old mills, etc. I like your work and can think of a few places that would be great to shoot - whether you'd get permission I don't know.
We used this entire place (it's bloomin' big) for a video shoot and they charged like £150 for the day! I imagine it's gone up now but you never know:
