good point Jaz...thats Burtons whole marketing campaign...flood the market with your product and get em while they're young.
then as johnny grows up all he will buy is Burton.
I agree with Dave too...Burton is really just overpriced...they do push the R&D which can make for a more pricey board...but its really just overpriced.
Do you know how much it costs to make the average board?...Forum boards store cost is like 380-420 for a top of line deck...now knock 30-40% off of that and thats how much it costs to make.
so basically a board that sells for like 700-800 cost about 150 to make...btw, i think most all the companies are overpriced but Burton holds the crown.
