you obviously don't hike backcountry or ride much elevation with that ghetto first layer on Clone...that shit would be soaked with sweat in no time.
my personal opinion...Patagonia Capalene...shit is the best well wroth the 150 bucks it will cost ya....if you need that. I agree with Clone to a cretain extent...when i lived and rode in Onterrible i would rock whatever...but after living and riding everyday in Whistler i had to buy good shit.
now as far as outerwear goes...i like 686, been rockin for 2 years now and no complaints really...durable, lightweight and waterproof.
I ride a Forum but i don't pay for my boards so i'm not completely partial to them...but i have no complaints about my Forum Elite 165...taken so many rock hits so far and slid on a whack of shit so far no major shots to the base...my old Burton would have peeled away by now.
