    without probing what is and isn't an english word...

    Jail, authority, permission being french as are most words in english to do with law or governance (it too being french)
    Pyjamas and Bungalow being Indian
    Mattress and Zero being Arabic
    Ketchup being Chinese
    Cartoon and Graffiti Being Italian
    burger and lager being German
    Booze and Cruise being Dutch
    Skirt and shirt being Viking

    There are a couple of words that still go back to before 'we was invaded by the hun' or more accurately we invaded them

    the best being

    Apple
