seriously, maybe there are a lot, but in the long run, it may prove better to just go and select every footnote number and convert it to a real footnote. You'll have a lot more control over it.
Why aren't they already styled anyway? was it stripped from placing the text? there are options for importing the text and preserving stuff like that..
