Can we get one thing straight before I read it again?
You can print a 3d gun SHAPE, but you can't print a working ballistic gun capable of firing anything. There's a reason guns are made from the hardest tempered steel available. Its because they need to be THAT strong to withstand the stress of launching a projectile that far, that quickly, in one direction.
A printed gun would possibly fire a pistachio about 15feet at best.
