    I've probably told this story before...
    When I was in college in Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX, we used to go to this skatepark in Kennedale all the time. Zoo York were doing a tour so we were definitely out there for that. Their van showed up and Harold got out in the stiffest denim jeans I'd ever seen. Way before selvedge denim was a thing. No boxers or underwear. No shirt.

    And he skated his ass off. I remember these little kids, maybe junior high or a bit younger being baffled by all of it. I'd seen him in videos plenty, and probably in Grand Royal magazine, and in Big Brother. Constantly he was having to pull these jeans up, most of the time his ass crack totally exposed.

    It was pretty cool though that they weren't doing a proper demo and were kind of just skating around with everyone else. I miss those days.
