The point is that you could have had a choice of flash or html5 and apple denied that choice by denying the use of flash.
So now if I want something done I have to wait fucking ages for a programmer to hammer out the site then it doesn't work or look the same on each browser etc etc etc and you end up chasing browser bugs.
I am pro choice people. I think it's wisest to have a choice. Clients got used to inexpensive flash sites and quick turn arounds and things that looked the same no matter what browsers they are viewed on. Now all you hear is 'but why it wasn't like this before, how come its taking longer it used to be simple, how come its different on this computer, why do I have to upgrade, this runs incredibly slowly, this doesn't show up, the corners aren't rounded on this browser, oh that browser doesn't handle that functionality etc etc etc
