Hey man a quick tip.
Make a solid same size as comp. make it bright red or green or something.
drop opacity to 0
then pick up pen tool and draw path of head.
Once happy chose solid layer chose effect>render>stroke chose reveal layer, make opacity 100%, then go to end offset or whatever it is and take it from 0 and increase it to 100 at the start of the swing then reduce to 0 at end of swing then add key frames in to time it up with the swing in-between.
That'll do it :D
