I lived in the midlands in 1987-88, and the feeling I got was that, yes, her policies were horrible to segments of the country, but what really was so bad was her "fuck off and die" sentiment, it seemed she took joy in the misery she caused,
to me, it was the "fuck you factor"
....there wasn't the least bit of remorse from her for the hardships she caused....
- What use is remorse though, I mean really? "I'm fucking you over, but hey - I feel quite bad about it"?detritus
- Especially where the 'fucking over' is backed by a cinviction you're doing The Right Thing - what use remorse then?detritus
