1. The system of global wealth is made equitable and not squandered by greed and war so we no longer see approx 2.8 billion people living on less than $2dollars a day (almost half the planet)
http://www.undp.org/hdr2003/2. I would like to see the introduction of the Tobin Tax. This is an excise tax on cross-border currency transactions. It would be used to stabilise world financial markets as well as generate funds for international and domestic development.

Apart from the obvious I would like to see the resources from the War on poverty channeled into reproductive healthcare, stabilize population growth, slow the spread of AIDS, reduce poverty and foster gender equality. I think improving reproductive health services is the most urgent aspect in the fight against HIV/AIDS. EVERY DAY, 14,000 people are newly infected and 1/2 are young people under the age of 25 who know little or nothing about the disease.
