    The decline in "real journalism" certainly has to do with the instant access we have to everything on the web and the ease with which information is created. There's probably so little that can actually be discovered that nobody knows about. I think journalism has shifted to reporting, and curation of reporting and information related to it. Nobody has to go to a country anymore and learn about the politics there, or the military, or the culture. It's all on Wikipedia.
