  I'm gonna stick UP for online dating here - or meeting people 'generally' online. With programs like messenger (or via emails) you can talk to that person for hours and hours about shit that you'd never talk about with a lass in a club.
  you get to know a lot about that person and their views etc.

  so technically 'if' you do ever end up meeting or going out with that person you shouldnt get any nasty surprises.
  when you think about it - when you meet a girl in a club or a pub you are only going on appearance and general chit chat.

  and i feel that it is just 'another place' to meet people - like a pub/club/supermarket
