  right, here's how I'd do it. First, get the smallest screwdriver you can find and undo those small screws on the bottom of your iPhone. Unclip the screen (v.carefully) and take a look under the hood. There might be a touch of glue which will make this part a bit difficult, but it'll make sense. Anyway, once you've done this, wrap the inside of your phone with tin foil. It might sound stupid, but seriously, it will only work this way.
  Then reattached you iPhone to you Mac, but insert the USB plug into your Mac REEEAAALLY slow. Leave it there for about 12 minutes and hopefully all your photos will come back and they'll copy directly onto your computer. Bingo!
