Wacom since 99 or so.
Nothing like it.
The intuos 5 is pretty great. Flat, compact, cords can be stripped of for when lugging it around.
The touch part I don't care for. Rubbish.But I second that robotic looking mouse on the previous page if you want to go mouse. I use it for that occasional gaming session. No complaints. It's very, very customizable.

Oppose to what some comments read on last page it doesn't "come apart" :)
It's just shown there with the adjustable parts taken completely off. And with the spare parts next to it as well.You get a set of weights and finishes with it. All of those making it fit pretty much any hand bar from those with gigantism. For your reference:
