    A non-compete usually only applies to industries you've serviced as a professional and usually only meant as a deterrent as you might have specific insider or trade knowledge about a particular clients business that they don't want you sharing with another client in the same industry.

    To be quite frank I've never in my 6 years of working as a professional designer have ever heard of anyone being tripped up by a non-compete. But hey, if you want to be safe maybe you want to review the terms again..
