been married for 3 1/2 years now,
but together for almost 10-11 years in total.
marriage is pretty awesome..
its tough at times, and there are plenty of compromises, and there will of course be times when you question either your sanity or hers.
but, overwhelmingly, it is wonderful
there is an adjustment period, to be sure, and it takes a long while to get used to each others idiosyncracies, but it's natural and it's important to not place to much anxiety on the day to day stuff...
she can be pissed at you for not putting away your socks from the night before, and you can be pissed at her for something similarly dumb, without fear that the relationship is doomedone important thing to keep in mind is to do things together...
take some dance lessons together, or something that appeals to BOTH of you...it's a great idea, and you'll both get something out of it.all i can say is that for me marriage has been the best thing i can possibly imagine..
