If you want to impress clients with tech-talk about user interaction it's still OK to mention 'drop-downs'.
They'll love your tech-savvy-ness if you throw in the odd mention of 'pink-fingering' and 'brown-fingering' - these are new terms for different types of user interaction to do with hotspots I think.
