Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Andy Neiman said in a news conference Tuesday that investigators were working on leads, including video from a Torrance Sport Chalet that appears to show Dorner purchasing scuba gear just days before his alleged rampage.
The Transportation Security Administration also issued an alert urging pilots and other aircraft operators to keep an eye out for Dorner.
That reward could increase in the coming days, as the Los Angeles City Council, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the Riverside County Board of Supervisors will hear proposals from some of their respective members to contribute additional funds.
