are you on a mac or pc?
for pc i use kazaa lite
for the mac iuse a variety of things..
if you try the search feature located on the bottom of this area, do a search on mac file sharing, or 'kazaa for mac' or something, you'll find that it's been discussed a bazilion times here, and you'll see urls for about 20 or so different kazaa type programs for macs
