no it doesnt seem strange at all to be honest..
there is only so much spotlight to be a celebrity in.. and unless you are extremely good-looking AND talented... your time in the spot light will be limited..
brendan fraser was big when he was young and attractive (subjectively speaking) .. now he is old.. and new, younger, more attractive people have taken his place under the spotlight..
its just dumb luck half the time..
