You know what? I've told this to many people: Watch the first three seasons, then stop. Forget the rest exist, and just imagine your own ending. You'll be happier that way, trust me. I'm sure anyone who watched the whole series will agree.

The fact that the producers admitted in the last season that there were several episodes they wished they could get back, and that they didn't have a clear ending in mind throughout the whole series kind of bothers me. I can understand creative impulse to go in different directions, but a show like that? Seriously? They should have had a point A and a point Z and figured out how to connect it from day one. Instead we got a lot of stuff that took away the mystique of people somehow crashed on an island, alive, with connections between them that they slowly figured out.

The whole mystery around the first couple seasons was AWESOME. Waiting till season 2 to see what carried on from the end of season 1 (I'm purposely avoiding spoilers here) was great. I used to watch that show and then go to bed totally wrapped up in wondering what would happen next. I'd dream about actually sometimes. Damn that was a great time.

Then they went and dropped a proverbial diarrhea bomb on everything with the last season.
