- There are 10x more murders in the US than the UK, there are very few guns in the UK. Change your law.chossy

- Re-do your maths. This time properly. Work out the percentage of deaths by murder.chossy
- Look up your homicide rate per 100, 000. = 4.2 US v 1.2 UK. etc. etc.chossy

- US is 2-5% to UK 1-3% per 100k
Also depends on where you live. UK has some violent crimes going for itselfyurimon - US is 3 times as more people.
