What scares me the most is all these people that think they'll "protect" themselves/businesses/whatever by shooting other people.

If/when that happens, I pray that the shooter will be fully prosecuted. This "oh, if the police don't respond to my expectations, I am going to wield a deadly weapon and use it as I see fit" is terrifying.

People can't f'king merge on the highway or enter a Wallmart on Black Friday without almost (and in some cases doing) killing each other, how in fucking hell are they going to "judge" when it is "ok" to open fire on another human.

Further, those people in the mob are, most likely, your neighbors that are pissed off and in some mob mentality.

You really think that shooting strangers in a mob is even remotely logical?! F'ck.

As I keep saying, I'll be the guy who buys the gun to protect myself from these "hero" types. Not scared of mobs, not scared of gangs, not scared of crime, but I am terrified about these folk that think they can evaluate and determine, instantaneously, whether someone else should live or die.

    Crazy. F'ckin' insane, really.

    • There are some how can use better judgement in those situations http://www.kgw.com/n…locustsloth
    • but they are the minority, whom have been trained for such situationslocustsloth

    • If every situation was a template situation then yes it possible to act the same everytime.but that not life.yurimon
    • it's not a matter of every situation needing to be the same. It's being able to adapt to diff situationslocustsloth
    • And that's why carrying a concealed firearm without training is ineffective, if not dangerous, for most peoplelocustsloth
