Some circumstance of gun ownership have prevented and kept people safe and in other circumstances people have been killed unjustly.

When the crime is successful it gets more statistical credit and more press. I am sure there are incidences unreported in preventive cases. its not so easy to weigh for the simple fact.

The connecticut case is another beast. You have a series of similar shootings where guns was used in a crime but is not the primary cause of the crime. The cause of the crime is the an individual deciding to commit the a crime and the conditions that have brought this person into the state of mind to act.

The similarity in some of these cases like batman, gilfords or columbine. is Medication, which is a catalyst. More facts need to be brought out who, what and respective affiliations. I am not ruling anything out in this case because of similarity but still holding out for more facts which are not completely represented or looked into.

So Sorry I aint falling for it so quickly. Is it possible that I would agree with restrictions on certain weapons? possibly. Right now in the news it appears like manufactured consent.

    • If you think it's even remotely possible that guns have saved more lives than they have taken, you are delusional.
