im sure it's been said before.
at least in the US, it's easier to attain a gun than it is to attain the medical attention that a madman might need in able to diagnose mental instability and treat.acts of madmen do not stop at unattainable. and lack of a gun will not stop crazy in its search to harm people.
what happened to those children was a tragedy beyond measure. every parent's worst nightmare in vivid detail that the press made sure not to miss. and this is the time to be talking about gun control legislation on a national level; to shy away would be shameful.
but the answer can not be, "Burn them all" and we need real world solutions that takes every interested party into consideration.
because guns and madmen are not going to disappear tomorrow.
