Gucci has a good point. If we continue to regurgitate this childish mantra "people kill, not guns", let's just give everyone a gun to carry.
Surely that will eliminate all crime, right? That will give the average "hero" (cause everyone wants/thinks he/she is/could be a hero, right?) the ability to stop all the "crazy" people that do the killing.
Only half joking there. I might consider carrying if these extreme attitudes continue. It terrifies me the extremes people are going to to justify guns. Just admit it, you love them, that's it, there is no "logic" there. I love guns too, but I can't for the life of me come up with a reason why they should be everywhere.
Guns. One purpose. To Kill. Period.
[I used to chant that crap above, am a gun owner, etc., etc, but I've come 180 in the last few years as I've seen how many pointless deaths are caused by so many damn guns. People are stupid. Give stupid people a gun and there's death. No gun, then we just are left with stupid people. I'll take that]
