I looked at every monitor out there, even the super expensive ones (the +2k "professional" ones), and I kept seeing the Dell at the top.
I was also looking at the NEC and Lacie, but decided the 30 was worth it (and it really is, my 24 looks so tiny now!).
Good color calibration makes the difference, so what ever you buy factor in purchasing something for that (if you don't already have)
