What an absurd ending to this incident.
Right when I thought that things would get much worse after the bus bombing, they decided to make peace?
So if we think of Israel's side;
a) They decided to make peace after bus bombing as a display of goodwill and show that they actually want peace and not motivated by revenge
b) They decided to make peace because they weren't expecting such a security breach in the middle of Tel Aviv. This would freak out civilians and have them question their government's actions and effect Likud's performance in the upcoming elections.
c) They decided to make peace because a third factor(usa, russia, iran) have told them to stop or threatened them.From the Hamas side of view;
a)They agreed on peace because a possible ground operation would just wipe hamas and half of palestine
b) They agreed on peace because Israel wanted peace
c) They agreed on peace because all the leadership team of Hamas has been killed and the ones next in line wanted to live a little more.Also what kind of an incentive did Hamas give Israel to reach peace?
