To answer your question. Israel was in many wars. Whenever a war occurs here, most people forget everything and go back to the essential upbringing and indoctrination, which is simple, Arabs are bad and they want us all dead. Holocaust again. The fear, here in Israel, results automatically in a huge swing to the right in all peoples' opinions. So, these 75,000 + regular army + all their families are voting Likud-Beitenu without a doubt, while if there was no conflict people could vote Center or even Left (which both already don't exist here for a long time.) If you take a look back at elections in the last 20-30 years in Israel you will see that in most cases, conflicts almost always "happened" 2-3 months before elections. And I will not even get into why Jabbari was killed and not somebody else. There is a reason for that too.

    • And if I'm talking about 20-30 years back, who financed the formation of Hammas?renderedred
