    You can host the fonts yourself and use @font-face in the CSS. Take a look through http://www.fontsquirrel.com. It's pretty straight forward if you download a kit and take a look at the examples included.

    You could convert Univers or Akzidenz with Font Squirrel's web font generator, but I'm pretty sure that's against every party's rules.

    https://typekit.com is nice if you're looking for hosted service. They do well to keep their fonts updated and rendering properly. The set up is a bit different... you choose the typeface from your account in TypeKit, add a line of javascript to your pages, then use the typeface name in your CSS.

    • No, your desktop fonts are not licensed for web usage. So converting them to web fonts using that generator and displaying them on a site is a no no. I believe it's intended for your own fonts, or open usage, freebie fonts.Cosmodrome
