GTA has been its best when its played off of nostalgia, making fun of it. The 80s, 90s, Scarface, Miami Vice, Goodfellas, shit like that.
With GTA4 they went more modern with a Russian lead and it was forgettable for me and now its modern again, but in Cali instead of NY.
I guess they are probably running out of ideas since they already did the 80s and 90s so im sure theyre doing what they can but to me it looks pretty generic. Maybe the game will be fun, it probably will be but I cant see it as being as memorable as Vice City or SA.
- It's still GTA tho. Would be interesting if they did GTA Tokyo or something. English speaking lead in foreign citypig
