@Whipp - The idea that Obama has divided the US is bizarre. Do you seriously believe that? The catalyst that is dividing your country is the media, particularly the right wing media such as Fox News who dance around spreading fear, hate and lies as if they are "facts" and "news".
From afar even your "liberal" media is pretty damn centrist, if not conservative, compared to the rest of the western world. It's horrifying to see a president look to provide free health care for his country, to then face such hate and vitriol, consistently labelled a socialist, a communist, a nazi. Because he isn't white nor has moussed back president-white hair, he's also muslim, a terrorist, unamerican and needs to show his birth certificate. Because he questions the tax breaks on the mega rich he's suddenly a burden on big business and now in cohorts with China. It just goes on, and on, and on... and it's all stupid childish fear ridden attacks from the right wing media that seemed to have taken over a huge part of your countries psyche, including your own.
Though let's be honest, it's all because there is a black democrat sitting in the white house. If over the last four years, even if everything else was exactly the same, though there was a white republican sitting in the presidents chair, it'd be a very different story.

- to your points... you are viewing from afar... the difference between president obama and bush with the mainstream media is blatantly clear. I will give the benghazi issue as an example. Just clear your mind of your political views and think if GWB had the same issue happen with him–the media would be all over him non-stop, it would be front page news every day. - as for the dividing factor... i still stand by this statement, never has an American president in recent times come out vocally to pin one set of class against another... he is in my mind very irresponsible with his power and influence... sorry but America is not a powerful nation due to its citizens being of lackluster and lazy, it was built and made by hard working men and women...
