This looks promising. I am happy that it is only a $40 (or $50?) upgrade over 7. I'll personally wait a bit, but will upgrade.
Also very excited about the possibilities of using a tablet with PS. I wanted a new laptop, but only work remotely here and there.
That said, my new machine (with whatever latest i7 and 32gbs of ram barely feels faster than my last machine when editing the Nikon D800's massive files - I've received 'warnings' that the files exceed the 2gb limit on PSDs numerous times now! But I digress....)
Mostly, W8 is prettier than anything else (iOS has always been horribly ugly, imho)
