"...you won't have to listen to some snob proclaim that you shouldn't dilute your whisky with ice"

I'm not a snob by no means but I am always perplexed by people who order the finest of whisky only to have it diluted with coke, water, whatnot.

Don't get me wrong: have whisky precisely the way you want it.

But what is the point in ordering something so very specific if you're mixing it to taste different anyways?

Why spring for X and Y whisky that spent Z and ZZ years in a barrel, then proceed to whisk around some varying amount of coke and ice in that thing.

Do you put ice in your finer wines too?

You can, if you like. Of course.
It just seem unfitting to me. Perhaps I am a snob.

So anyways, OP, the fun part of drinks is that you'll have a great number of times to find out yourself what you like.
    Have them all.

Since you're on qbn, and possible interested in design, why not buy a few random bottles of the juice with labels and packaging from Stranger & Stranger? Found in neat lickerstores.
