Here's the third in a series of Love Songs posters I created for sale on my venture TypographyShop.
It tells a love story, from beginning through falling in love, having lots of sex, trouble and doubt, the breakup and its lonely aftermath. Told entirely through song titles from the 1980s. I've also done the 60s and the 70s.
Then, in 2 minutes last night I made this:
My 10 minutes of internet fame, or at least my meme's, has garnered close to 50,000 Facebook likes, comments and shares, has been mentioned on Talk of the Nation, online at CNN, NPR, Mashable, Perez Hilton, Rolling Stone and who knows what next. For something I spent two minutes creating. If only the thousands of hours of internet promotion of my online shops, design and painting could garner 1% of that. Go figure.
