  It's really hard to say that, in general, Republicans aren't racist. For the most part, they represent the "red states," the "south" that are historically, radically racist. Many of them still hang the Confederate flag with pride. Yes, of course people voting for Obama are doing so for racist reasons, but really in an anti-racist way. See, they feel that voting for a Republican would be promoting racist leadership. That's not really racism, it's just voting for someone with forward-looking ideals.

  The more you defend this aspect of the party the more you disappoint.
