in the evening go to navy pier. it's nice to walk around and the lights are really cool. there are boat tours available from there. some take you out onto the lake for dinner/drinks and others take you into the city via the river for a tour. i've done both and both are nice. the city tour is ok but not as romantic as a dinner cruise out on the lake.
also at the top of the hancock is the signature room restaurant and bar. the view is amazing and it's quite romantic for dinner. after dinner head up the steps to the bar and have a few drinks overlooking the city. not too terribly crowded and a nice environment.
