Guys, I know how to google, so all of the examples I have seen before.
Believe me, when I started in middle 2008 I did massive research if there was anything similar. Not because I thought I had reinvented the wheel, but to be sure not to spend so much time on a thing somebody else did already before.
During that time there where only these things around:
Paula Scheers Maps:Three or four motives of Orkposters: http://www.orkposters.com/
And this one:
If you do some research you will see, all the other came later on.
If you google "Typomaps" you will see, that, when I published it, it massively went through the internet and print publications. But that's all not the point. It's not about ripping or getting ripped in general. I was just astound, that one of the worlds leading design agencies copies in such an obvious way. I mean, I'm only a one man show – they have millions of employees ;-). There must be so much creativity around that place, that they do not need to copy something.
I'm off for weekend now. Have a nice one.
- you had to do research to see if "there was anything similar" ? This is a very common approach to maps, and has been for at least three years.wordssssss

- But he's talking about starting 4 years ago. He's the one that actually started the trend.ORAZAL
