a good friend of mine claims to have been transported a handful of miles by an alien ship. he and 2 mates. they have a pretty convincing story - and tell it with the conviction of people that actually experienced something... it's rather creepy.
also, it adds to the creepiness that he's a guy that i've always considered to be... very down to earth.
